I know Plex has a feature that would prevent trashing of content if a HD is unplugged but this only seems to work when you add each individual HD mount point to each library.
My issue is when a HD comes offline, Plex does not notice that it is a HD unplugged and trashes all the content on the next scan. I also have "Empty trash automatically after every scan" enabled. I have a media pool using MHDDFS and point plex libraries to this single directory.
